can't use one shot buttons

I love Syrinscap. Unfortunately I am having a problem using the oneshot buttons. I will save a file as "s01 - sound name" and then syrinscape will change it to a wav file when I open the folder for the first time. However, when I hit the button to play the sound effect it does not plan and I get a message that states that will will play the "silence" file instead. Am I doing something wronge or is this a bug? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Try deleting the original soundfile after the conversion to wav.
Hi,
Maybe syrinscape is trying to play the original soundfile and not the wav conversion.
Try letting syrinscape do the conversion... then go back to the directory and delete the original mp3... then restart Syrinscape and see how you go...
Let me know if that works!

didn't work
HI...
unfortunately I am still haveing the same problem. I think that actually it did not need to convert the file becuase it was already a wav file. This is the message I am getting:
Cannot load sound: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Syrinscape\starwars\s05 - lack of faith.wav"
"Silence.wav" loaded instead.
Any ideas... it was a sound I got off the internet. It will play in iTunes alright, but will not function in SirenScape for some reason.
Wav file... wrong numbers...
Ah...
Are other files playing normally?
I think to play in Syrinscape, wav files have to be 44Khz and 16bit... Is this maybe the problem? Try converting it to these specs and having another go?!?
Keep trying~!
